In accordance with the aim of CODEH, community outreach was held by members of the Unibadan Association of Dental Students in collaboration with De United Foods Industries Limited. This held on 19th October 2019.
About 55 dental students and doctors participated in this CODEH programme. We were accompanied by Dr Fagbule, a senior registrar from the department of Periodontology and Community Dentistry.
An oral health talk was given by Miss Ooreoluwa Adejumo and Mr. Muiz Salami, while the dental students carried out oral examinations, blood pressure measurements, Body mass index measurements and random blood glucose measurements.
Procedures: 11 Scaling and polishing procedures done.
Souvenirs shared: Medium textured toothbrushes and Colgate toothpastes.
A total number of 100 community residents and market men and women were attended to.
